Another way I created buttons was by taking a screenshot of the page I wanted to link to, inserting it onto the page as an image, then hyperlinking the image to the page so that it would open in a new tab when clicked on. This creates an alternative method of hyperlinking which is more interesting.

For my evaluation, I used many media technologies within the Wix website editor which my evaluation is created on.

For the genre section of the question one, I have used many of the features available on Wix such as image, text, vector art, and buttons. I have added images which are screenshots taken from my trailer that related to the topic I was discussing. I also added vector art from the performing arts icons section for decoration purposes. Text allowed me to discuss the topic I had chosen and buttons enabled me to create hyperlinks to other websites which I had spoken about in the text or related to the topic. Most of these links were either linked to my blog on Blogger where I had the entirety of my work in an organised fashion or directly to Prezi where I had presented some of my work.

How did you use media technologies in the evaluation stage?

I linked many videos throughout my evaluation through both YouTube and Vimeo by inserting the web addresses into the video feature. I used this feature to show examples of the work I was explaining so I could have a working visual example alongside the text.

For another section, I used Powtoon to create a presentation. This offers an alternative form of presenting work which is more interactive and interesting. For my Powtoon, I used a whiteboard style in which the text and images appear as if they have been drawn.

Finally, throughout my evaluation, I used videos I had uploaded to YouTube and Vimeo to supplement my explanations. The majority were clipped videos taken from the trailer which I used when explaining a certain feature, others were videos of tutorials I had followed or a recording of myself with a transcript underneath.
